Admissions Policy

The standards of scholarship and Christian faith at Tri-State Baptist College require a review and evaluation of every applicant. All application forms must be filled out completely. Letters of recommendation, statement of salvation testimony, moral character, integrity, and academic records will be considered.

The Tri-State Baptist College admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs and athletics and other school administered programs.

Students may be admitted on the following basis:

A. Graduation from an approved public high school with a "C" average.

B. Probationary admission of students with grades below average. Students must maintain a "C" average to remain in college.

C. Graduates of non-approved high school may be admitted on basis of entrance examination.
